Is #Brewster Allegedly #Spamming #GMail Accounts?

On January 30, 2015, the founder of DrewryNewsNetwork.com recently received an e-mail to the GMail.com account from Brewster.com. The founder never registered for the site and wonders how Brewster got the e-mail address and had the nerve to send a message. The e-mail reads: "Re: Drewry's contact info Inbox x **** **** via Brewster Jan 30 (2 days ago) **** asked us to reach out and confirm they have your latest info Here's what they have for you now: ************@gmail.com Mobile Number Confirm / Update For your safety, this link expires in 48 hours Featured on: The New York Times Business Insider Fast Co. TechChrunch All Thinks Digital Why did you receive this email? The sender wanted to confirm that above contact info is up-to-date. Your displayed contact details are what they currently have for you.
