He seen on the front cover of the magazine wearing a short sleeved black top with a brown belt, black shoes and beige flavored khakis. On page 9 inside the magazine, you'll see former mayor Funk in an office with his business suit on discussing business with two gentlemen. Vance Funk has been mayor of Newark, Delaware since April 2004 for roughly 9 1/2 years. Prior to Mr. Funk being mayor of Newark, it's noted in the magazine on page 9 he was a real estate lawyer for the University of Delaware, which was a part-time job. Mayor Funk continues to be an active and healthy person moving forward in life, inspiring people in a positive way to achieve greatness.
